Codex CLI

Codex adds the server from the terminal and reads the key from your environment.

ADD THE SERVER

codex mcp add crado --url https://crado.ai/mcp --bearer-token-env-var CRADO_API_KEY

Export CRADO_API_KEY in your shell first — the key never lands in config.toml.

OR PASTE INTO ~/.CODEX/CONFIG.TOML

[mcp_servers.crado]
url = "https://crado.ai/mcp"

[mcp_servers.crado.http_headers]
Authorization = "Bearer YOUR_KEY"

Or bearer_token_env_var = "CRADO_API_KEY" instead of the header table.
